Born in Michigan, I got an early start taking guitar lessons as a young child. Afforded opportunities by local musicians, I began performing on guitar and electric bass with musical productions while in high school. I then pursued further musical study at Capital University's Conservatory of Music in Bexley, Ohio.

I have played professionally with organizations such as ProMusica Chamber Orchestra, Columbus Jazz Orchestra, Broadway Across America Columbus Series, Opera Columbus and the Mansfield Symphony.

I have shared the stage with national and international artists such as Earl Klugh, Byron Stripling, "Blue" Lou Marini, Lew Soloff, Kate Baldwin, Christian Howes and Copeland Davis, and have played with a number of notable Central Ohio musicians such as Dave Powers, Bobby Floyd, Arnett Howard, and Vaughn Wiester.

Since 2003, I have been teaching private and group lessons in Central Ohio, including teaching on faculty at Capital University's Conservatory of Music 2010-2012 and formulating and teaching workshops for the Columbus Jazz Arts Group.

As an instructor for JamPlay.com, I filmed lessons on metal and rock songs, metal techniques for rhythm guitar, jazz improvisation, and lead guitar skills and concepts, and led weekly live chats from 2014 to 2022 on a broad range of subjects to guitarists of multiple ages, backgrounds, and skill levels.

You can catch me regularly in and around Columbus at public and private events with Popgun, Dr. Awkward, Dirty Money, FLIPPO, Dave Powers, Talkboy Trio and the Bluewater Kings Band, as well as subbing for various bands and playing solo guitar for private events. I previously was a proud member of the Liz Woolley Band, TOMB, and Anna and the Consequences.
